Mine says it is up to date with 4.1.1.
Is it the case that LR have issued customised updates to individual cars to fix an issue, in this instance the blank screens? |

I don’t think so. I believe landrover just roll out the updates in batches to cars.
Whether they are aware of certain vins with issues and roll fixes to them first I’m not sure. MY23 D250 Defender 110 X-Dynamic SE, Carpathian Grey, 7 Seat, Electric Towbar |

You're definitely on the cutting edge of Pivi updates. I saw your post about 4.1.4 too. Did you happen to take any pictures of the 4.1.4 release notes? Looks like 4.1.6 is just the Driver Display fix based off the PHEV note that's usually at the bottom of the list. Thanks! |

Oh interesting!
Do you know who has the 4.1.6 you posted the image from? Is it in the wild? |

Ah, thanks. I misunderstood but I get it now.
The steering item listed in that 4.1.5 pic probably relates to an issue reported in the US in March. Good to see them addressing via the Pivi updates. |

Question : anyone know how to force an update?
(or are JLR OTA's specifically released to known vin# w/issues?) I'm at 4.1.3 (March 24') - 24' p400/110 and I've had "black screen" issues... so I was hoping the new sota would address. |

Same as above, anyone know a way to force - I’m on 4.0.1, updated in early April 2024 and it’s a recent MY24

I believe it's VIN related. If you have the pivi pro black screen, take thr car to your JLR dealer. They will roll back the software to the last known good version, check the screen functions etc. Then update to the latest software for your VIN.
