Defender TD5 Grinding noise when turning slightly left VIDEO
Hi,

My Defender TD5 has a grinding/whirring noise when turning slightly left (Nothing when turning right) it sounds like a stone caught between something and stops when on full lock or with the wheel straight... Only happens at 5-15MPH then goes, I can see anyting grinding and it dosn't do it when stationary, heres a video, the audio isnt great.

The easiest first check is to take the cap off the drive member and check the CV joint splines are greased. If rusty, they can grind and bind as they move in and out when turning LR Workshop
