I applied Gyeon Q2 Evo ceramics and then I just quickly pre-wash with Finesse active ceramic foam...
Sometimes I take a washing glove when it's heavily soiled |

l use a spray on/wipe off product called Demon Shine after washing the vehicle and it seems to do a great job.

I use a new sponge every time, that combats a lot of issues. No Guts, No Glory.

I love this product, I use it once in a blue moon, it’s expensive and I haven’t used it for a couple of years but when the time is a available it leaves an amazing finish.
Meguiars #7 Show Glaze. (It’s not easy to find in the U.K.). It’s a non abrasive Pure Polish, it leaves a wet look with rich polishing oils, which leaves an amazing finish, if finished off with Ultimate liquid wax. If you manage to have the time to do a clay bar detail before hand as well, you’ll get a perfect finish. Normally I just do a fast wash and wax due to the time it takes, but when doing the whole hog it’s excellent. It leaves a really nice dark wet look on panels, and also with carnuba waxes it does too. Mines grey, I like the finish a lot, on black for example it should leave a deep wet look sheen with really nice deep gloss. Brings out a nice deep rich colour, and makes metallics “pop”. As I mentioned, other than horizontal panels such as bonnet, roof or wings if they are bare. I don’t see much point in using clay bar on vertical panels, there is little that will be collected from that but you can do it all. They are good for tar spots too. Paint protection is my reason mainly, making it look nice is just a bonus which won’t last long. No Guts, No Glory. 🇬🇧🏴🏴🏴🇮🇪🇺🇸⛽️🛢️⚙️🧰💪 Last edited by custom90 on 24th Apr 2024 7:24pm. I go away for a couple of days and WOW such a varied set of responses. Definitely some food for thought, I have clayed a car before, a long tiresome job but it looked fantastic.
I might try a clay mitt for the flat areas and then the spray on wipe off protection. Mine is Tasman, it looks awesome when clean but it shows the dirt quote quickly. I use Demon Shine like Leamreject, slightly diluted with water and sprayed on rather than poured on. I find a damp microfibre towel works better than a dry one. It's an inexpensive product that does exactly what is says on the bottle. Defender 90XS SW

I get a local gut to clean it for £15/month. He did machine polish it and ceramic coat it first though. I’m possibly never going to see much dirt as the car is a people carrier/tow car to me and not a mud plugger. Horses for courses I guess.
