Hello,
I have uploaded the new firmware of the nanocom and i have now EMS SYNC. But when i use EMS SYNC for the defender 2.4 TD4; I have the message " FAILED TO SYNCHRONIZED 10AS ALARM" I think I have injection cutt-off and I want to know how to do ? Is there a procedure for setting up the ECM? Is it the alarm box that shuts off the injection? the engine only cranked with startpilot. |

Have you synced the fob first? Needs doing every time battery power is disconnected to re-sync it. No Guts, No Glory.

The fob works. The remote control opens and closes the centralised doors and activates the alarm when it closes

Hi everyone. Still with my Defender 2.4 TD4 that won't start after an engine, turbo and injector replacement.
In NANOCOM, When I set "MEMS FAILURE INDIC" to ENABLED in the settings2 of the ALARM 10AS menu, it puts the red light on me and I can no longer turn on the starter. If I put DISABLED I can run the starter motor but I still have my injection cut-off active. Who's got an idea? Is my ECU immobilized? |

It does seem that the 10AS De-mmobilisation code is not getting to the engine ECU. You said you removed pins 3 and 4 from the ipac connector, so double check it was pins 3 and 4 . Iโm assuming they are no longer in the connector. You should also check the wire from the 10AS connector to the ECU connector for continuity. Also check all the 10AS related fuses. |
