Why not try it and see what happens. You can always restore the original settings if it doesn't work. |

l tried turning Multican 498 from "fitted" to "not fitted" and it came up with "emergency brake assist not available" next time l turned on the ignition.
So the two must be connected. l reset it to "fitted" and the brake assist warning disappeared. l didn't try to change the other two settings (Multican 699 and 706) |
