I can take photos for you once I am home tonight if that helps?
There is no real science! Off the top of my head there is 4 straps, one in each corner with corresponding male and female buckle. I put these through the inside of the tyre and back around to the clip on the top. I get them loose to start and then progressively tighten to the desired position! Hope that makes sense / helps a bit? |

Thanks Andrew95, photos would be great, I thought the space between the tyre and back door seemed awfully tight to get straps round and tightened, I think I might be over thinking this which is unusual cause I'm not great at thinking! I'll have another go tomorrow and see how I get on. |

Agreed, I also don't like the look of them but they are useful. At the moment we use a dry bag for trash, this keeps in bin juice and smells. |

We use a small cordera top loading back pack on the back wheel for rubbish and oil containers. it holds about 20ltrs and cost about £20 ... been used for about 5 yrs with no issues and on many overland trips.
The shoulder and lap straps hold it firmly in place, its water proof and has side pockets .. simples! But it’s much smaller than the trasher-roo ones but it does all what we need. ![]() Click image to enlarge Poppy - TDCI (Puma) 110XS 2.2 - Camper conversion - see the build here - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic56530.html Elgar -TDCI(Puma) 110XS Dormobile - now sold Devon & Cornwall 4x4 Response - DC126 ![]() |

I’ve crossed the straps around the back of the wheel. Photos attached.
