I got a carbon clean on my 90 after 12 years of ownership, but the mileage was low: only 87,500km.

A little update, I bought the things I needed to walnut blast the inlet and valves myself. Happy with results so far but it’s very time consuming. You really can’t believe how much carbon comes out!

All down to egr valve. Mine was the same. I’ve seen inside one with egr deleted and intake is spotless.
Who would think an egr is a good idea. It’s like in a pot and drinking it. |
