Probably some iPhone setting turned off, thus not allowing access.
There are so many it’s common to not know which it is at times. Needs good access to GPS (line of sight to Sattelite), Location services on, audio up all the way, do not disturb off, maybe a good idea ensuring 4/5G is available and probably Siri permissions on. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R 🇬🇧🏴🏴🏴🇮🇪🇺🇸⛽️🛢️⚙️🧰💪 |

Thanks for the reply. All your suggestions were set anyway, and yes, I thought iPhone settings but nothing has been changed and CarPlay starts up ok and is onscreen, Siri starts up on demand and responds to the question but then declines to provide the result due to being ‘in the car’. I guessed it might be iPhone’s Focus interfering due to driving but that is set to ‘manual’ so shouldn’t be on.
Only things that have changed since I last used this feature successfully has been iPhone updates and the LR OTA update to 4.1.1. I’ll keeping looking…… |

Trouble is, that sometimes updates or auto updates can wipe existing settings.
And then they sometimes need re-setting, and that’s only after you’ve realised something isn’t working. And seeing as LR have updates and Apple, then there are two parallel updating software versions. Just something to bear in mind. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R 🇬🇧🏴🏴🏴🇮🇪🇺🇸⛽️🛢️⚙️🧰💪 |
