I made my own. You'll find my thread on here somewhere. Powerful use the same lock as mine, however, if I was buying I'd go for the 4x4 Overland version because of the quality of the lock.
The reason being is that you can cut through the Masterlock that I've / Powerful used with an angle grinder if you really wanted to get the wheel off. It would be noisy but with a decent blade and grinder I don't think it would take too long. It's just a deterrent to move the scumbags onto someone else's wheel. Eiger Grey MY23 D250 SE with bits. The genuine LR wheel lock for our wheels has two different part numbers VPLEW0164 & VPLEW0165. The one ending 164 is black. I’m guessing the one ending 5 is the silver version but I’ve not been able to confirm this, can anyone advise ?
Thanks |

No I think they are both black but fit different style wheels as the centre design is slightly different. JLR informs the silver locks will be available in the future.

I was hoping the VPLEW0165 is silver as looking for a lock to match my wheels - asked the dealer but got nowhere Tony

Does anyone know what the spare wheel lock that has appeared on the configurator is?
Looks different from the genuine LR option above and only £50 Only available on some wheels and not others. Click image to enlarge |

None of the current LR locks fit the Standard 18" Steel Wheel. Although beware there is a wheel that looks virtually the same ..... that is an Alloy. This is the Alloy Click image to enlarge This is the Steal |

That image isn’t the spare wheel lock, that’s just the cap for the steel wheels. 24MY 90 D250 HSE, Tasman Blue |

Does anyone know if this VPLEW0164 lock that is mentioned here fits the 22" 'Style 5098' wheels?
I have also fitted it with the Urban WX-2 22" wheels, hoping it would fit that one too. Click image to enlarge |
