110 camper conversion .
Seats out and camper in 😃 Sold the rear 2 seats and that money bought everything needed to convert to camper.
MDF, sink, hinges, tap, handles, magnets, 3” foam bedding, tartan upholstery, 1 pair of grey curtains to cover the MDF and 2 tins of spray glue. Not finished yet but almost done with a 2kw diesel heater to fit. Still have plenty of storage and carrying capacity.

That looks really smart!
Out of interest what curtains did you use to go across the front seat / cab area? I want to do something similar but struggling to find curtains that I know will fit online. A lot seem to be aimed at vans with curved windows.

Be ready to inform DVLA of 'change of use'.

Police are getting very hot on VW Van to Campers and Small vans to camperette.

Anything with extra windows and curtains attract their attention.

?? on the basis of what exactly ?? there is no law as such that you have to inform them........

https://www.gov.uk/government/publications...or-caravan

have actually heard of more people being told that theirs does NOT conform to the definition of a "Motor Caravan"

I’m not sure if installing a sink and 4” cushion makes it campervan conversion worthy.
People have adapted Landrovers to their needs for 70 years without them being campervans. I do however recognise the explosion of home made campervan conversions from every possible type and size of van, into completely luxurious homes. I’m very aware that the police have a heightened interest in these converted vans because they’re all overweight. Solid wooden floors, tiled bathrooms, fitted kitchens, marble tops, electronic beds…. and all that into a PO van, or flimsy panel van. They all look lovely BUT.. there’s no modification or upgraded beefed up suspension, breaks, Etc. They’re all overweight and as mentioned above, no change of use with DVLA. Iv see loads pulled into the weighbridges by the cops. and rightly so but thank you for highlighting this LR Nuts.
