You aren’t alone, I have 33’s and it vibrates way more than I think it should. I have window grills in the back and it’s very concerning how much you realise it moves. I wouldn’t be surprised to see them start cracking due to fatigue. I got a good deal on a used on, and I’m still disappointed with it. Would be extremely disappointed if I’d paid the full price for one.

I have standard wheels on mine, so mostly happy with the Ore carrier. Main downside is that there's rust appearing after just 2 years despite the claims for their special coatings.

Similar here. Very happy overall but there is rust appearing on the plate that attached to the rear door which is disappointing given the coating claims.

I was going to buy one but held off due to reports of long wait times and poor customer service.(which doesn't seem to be so much of an issue anymore) But now concerned about rust and moving when a large wheel is fitted.
Guess I will go for the Masai heavy duty now, shame because didn't want to drill holes in the back and not sure I like the off-centre position but at least I could see out rear window and get to the handle Matt Defender 90 HT 2.2 Puma |

Aren't these on taper bearings? Can the bearings be nipped up a bit to reduce movement? > 110 XS Double Cab

In my case the movement isn’t in the bearing, it’s in the actual arm that it bends, wish it was as simple as nipping the bearings up. I did speak with one of ore’s “approved installers” about it and he agreed that it is a problem but seems like it’s something ore don’t want to know about.

Sorry to Hijack, but Chris is there any plan's to make the Modular Cargo system again? I can't find anything remotely as good and would love to have an upper bulkhead set

I've had the ORE wheel carrier on my Defender for a couple of years. I recently noticed some wobble. I removed the spare wheel to take the load off, removed the two plastic caps and tightened up the two big (30mm) nuts. Not sure if there is a specific torque. Wobble gone
