I've also noticed that the large 'straight-on' arrows on motorways, near slip lane exits throw it off too.. |

l turned this off in the menu and it's never activated so it's clearly permanently off.

Update
The engine and transmission in my D250 had gradually become smoother as time has gone on. The issue l reported at the start of this thread has disappeared. l've experienced this before with diesel vehicles. lt seems to take around 10,000 miles for the engine to loosen up, before that it can be a bit sudden in power delivery. My Transit TDCi was similar for the first 10,000 miles or so. If you pulled out of a junction there would be nothing, and then suddenly the van would shoot forwards. |

I have reported low gear change lumpiness to be looked at when my D300 is next in the dealers. At times it seems very lumpy with a faint thump between 3rd and 2nd particularly down shifts and when cold. Will see what they say. 110 MY23.5 X Dynamic HSE

How many miles have you done in it. And has it had the gearbox software update?

l would give it a bit more time. Mine started to improve towards 10,000 miles and is now really smooth.
There was a gearbox software update around 12 months ago. l called out LR Assist because of the gear change issue and he did the update, which improved it although still wasn't perfect. At the time l had only done around 2,000 miles. |
