Hi, I have an ex-rover 75 12v switched thermotop C which has stopped functioning and needs a reset and a code read so I know what to change to repair it.
I know Martin used to sell wires for connecting and reading the units. Have this link.... https://www.disco3.co.uk/wiki/Fuel_Burning...t_Software But I'm not sure this works with my 1 pink diagnostic wire? And I don't think the link to the shop works any more? Could I ask for your help please any webasto gurus out there.[/quote][/b] |

You can diagnose the TTC with the WTT software, yes.
There’s a menu option to pick the TTC, I have done it with BMW/L322 heaters. 1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top 2015 D90 XS SW |

Thanks. Sorry for really delayed reply.
Yep (pink?) pin2 diagnostics wired in and I left it out of the loom to be able to access it. Curiously however..... I reset it properly today by turning the power off whilst it was switched on. On restart, it fired up normally, got into "normal" operation with fan at full speed and fuel pump ticking at normal operation speed, then shut down and dumped a massive cloud of white smoke out the exhaust. Which I assume to be a symptom of the fast shut down rather than the actual error state in operation. Are there any common faults they develop that cause.... I guess... An over heat and shut down or something else similar? |
