My 1998 Ford Galaxy had swivelling front seats from the factory - never was an issue for MOT.
As long as they are facing the right way for the MOT |

I would imagine they are okay, usually as above and so long as there is a headrest and restraint such as full seatbelt. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R

I think that the only issue is that if your vehicle is type approved (which based on your avatar it will be) then the TA will be compromised by the seats. This is unlikely to be a problem unless there is some kind of gruesome incident which results from the modification.
As it is a significant and safety-critical modification you should tell your insurance company but provided that it is still happy to insure you, I don't really foresee a problem. |

And for MOT they need to lock in place when facing forward Ride like you stole it!! If I’m not on a bike it’s because only a 4x4 will do… 2011 2.4 Puma 90 HT |

I can’t see any issue fitting one in regards legality and mot, if proper seats are used. The only I can see is the price of them and the fact it adds about and 30mm to the height of the seat. A few camper/motorhome owners remove them due to the height issue.

Not sure about the legality, but would it not sit really weird? I am sure the seatbox tilts backwards (lower towards back of truck, higher at front). So if you rotated the seat would you not be tilting forwards / at weird angle?
