I have a new ISO/OBDII wiring harness but cannot find the ISO connector inside the Puma dash (2012 2.2)
It is the male side of the grey plug on the 'puma pin' loom here: https://www.mudstuff.co.uk/products/defend...1476558933 I can find the end that goes into the head unit and have removed the dash from the firewall as you would to do a wiper spindle replacement but still can't trace it back to where it must be behind the venting. Can anyone give me a bit of advice? Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge |

You've nailed it exactly. I was simplifying the part of the harness I couldn't track down but I am putting in a Stinger unit. I got impatient and just pulled everything and found the PO tucked the ISO male side deep behind the ducting to install a subwoofer and a mangle of duct taped cable. I had carpets to install anyway so I just pulled it all and took out the dash.
One other question, I cracked the gauge cluster cable release assembly, does anyone know where to buy a new one? Picture below, can't find it online. Click image to enlarge Thanks again! |

If the locking lever is cracked, you can superglue that, let it set and then refit it.
Mine cracked and that’s what I did. (I found it like it, I guess it fatigued). All good since, you can buy new ones (a whole connector) but I can’t remember the product code now, they aren’t the easiest part to track down. Martin on here or PaulMC, perhaps may have a record of it possibly? I used to have the details of the connector, but, don’t have it to hand just at the moment. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R 🇬🇧🏴🏴🏴🇮🇪🇺🇸⛽️🛢️⚙️🧰💪 Last edited by custom90 on 15th Mar 2024 8:59pm.
