I've got the same model arriving in a few days - Admiral looking best for me but almost double your quote.
Had heard that Audi or NFU were good bets but the first wouldn't cover and the latter were 50% higher 🤨 |

I moved from LV with my previous car to Admiral in January when I got my Defender.
Some of the quotes appear to be plucked out of fresh air. Tony MY24 - 110 D300 HSE in Tasman Blue with White Contrast Roof. Air Suspension, Off-Road Pack, Towing Pack, Three-zone Climate Control, HUD, Cold Climate Pack, Classic Mud-Flaps, Fixed Side Steps, Wheel Arch Protection, Rear Recovery Eyes. Plus a few extras to keep the Cocker Spaniel safe & happy. |

At £650 I would bite their hand off! I'm also with Admiral and they were by far the best deal. Eiger Grey MY23 D250 SE with bits. Known as Noddy.

NFU £537 last year, just renewed with them at £767, which was less than I was expecting. Online quotes were bonkers, with the exception of Aviva but when I entered PPF under modifications they declined to quote!

Mine was £300 last year
Hopefully premiums will reduce once Land Rover finish updating the security on Range Rovers and thefts reduce. |

I'm with Churchill (same group as Admiral) and I have a lot of years no claims, protected NCD and a zero excess, last year I paid just under £400, in February I got me renewal and it had gone up to £1K! I did the compare sites etc and Admiral came in the cheapest at £600. I rang to cancel my policy and they said "let's have a look at the price", they said if I increased my excess to £250 (apparently that's what I had selected on the Admiral quote) they could match the price but if I still wanted my zero excess they could do it for £700! So 10 minutes on the phone saved me £300, my question to them was if they could do it for £700 why the hell did they quote me £1K The guy couldn't answer that but it's always worth ringing you current company to see if they can do anything, I think they probably quote high to begin with as there are probably some customers who just renew without querying it. It's a crap way to deal with existing customers but I don't think they have any loyalty to existing customers, it's just a massive turnover of people. On the compare sites the prices ranged from the cheapest (Admiral) to some other well known insurance companies who were quoting anything upto £4K Cheers Ian

I’ve found that different compare sites (USwitch, Confused etc) quote different prices for exact same parameters MY25 90 D350 X-Dynamic HSE in Silicon Silver and coil sprung

LV had no issues with my D250. It must be down to where you live. Although we are within Greater Manchester which is one of the worst places for car theft.
I did a quote with Land Rover insurance and it was £1,000 with a compulsory £600 excess. |
