Hey all,
So as some of you may know I bought a second heater box to renovate whilst the original was still on my car and now i have completed my renovation I have taken my old one off for someone else to renovate. It is the older style one with downward facing heater matrix but is in descent condition. It has been painted up by a previous owner and the steel on it seems solid so perfect to do up. The heater matrix works but could do with having some foam popped in to stablise (unless you would want to go down an uprated matrix like I did). The fan motor works but the heater would require a new resistor thingy (unless again you wanted to upgrade like I did in my build). Also comes with the mounting bracket. Just to sweeten the deal I am also happy to throw in a pair of the stainless steel heater box arms I had designed and made allowing you to strip the whole unit apart and reassemble if you wanted to with a retrofitted look. Examples of them and my little project can be found here: https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic90009.html Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Collection would be ideal but can look to post (would work out the cost if needed). I'd be looking for £100 ono. Any questions please just give me a shout. I also have a later style TD5/puma door on here and some brand new black wing chequer plates if anyone was interested in a package deal Located in South Shropshire. |
