Gwyn Lewis shock mounts front.
Always nice to fit something new and functional.

Existing shock turrets rusting out on the insides closest to the iner wings. Needed replacement shocks so made sense to do both. Gwyn ones will be easier to clean at least! Simple to fit too.

So are those OME60037? if so, how do they compare with genuine gas charged LR shocks? Puma 110" SW

I can check number on them. They are medium duty Std length, they are actually the 2nd set.

First ones I fitted lost an overland trip and std shocks getting very hot and failing. So upgraded to medium duty std length one shocks. 90k later they are due a change. Cheers

These types are so much better, I have D44 ones but they are a lot easier to clean than the top hats that gets hidden corrosion.
It’s useful to use the HD turret rings as well at the same time, much more reliable.

One of those jobs to be careful with doing though that’s for sure. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R

I’ve had the GL turrets fitted for years -they are Superbulous.
Also fitted the HD turret rings and spring isolators at the same time.

Only wish I’d had the funds to fit Fox shocked at the time 🤪

Looks so much better and definitely makes it easier for maintenance and cleaning.
