Now sold
Bought on a whim as it looked so nice. It is really nice and is a great Defender, a definite potential 'keeper' but on reflection the noisy, ratty 200tdi still has my heart. And I have my eye on a 130 2005 Defender 110 XS model CSW. 160k, great service history, drives superbly. It is listed on eBay (auction) now so either have a cheeky bid or come and have a look and drive it away for £14,000 Click image to enlarge Lots more pictures here: https://photos.app.goo.gl/DFUM3HAtC1iDhiUJ7 New MOT, recent service, new LOF clutch, new air con condenser, transmission is good - transfer box works fine. Safari snorkel, wading kit, rear tank guard (wildbear) XS spec - elec windows, remote central locking, heated seats, heated windscreen, air conditioning, carpets throughout plus rubber mats. Front and rear seats are original, second row are exmoor trim high backs with recliners. Unusually, no chequer plate anywhere, bodywork is good, dent free. It has been used so there are some tell-tale and age appropriate marks in the paint but it polishes up really well. All doors are in excellent condition - one piece steel versions. No rust. Brand new door hinges and stainless steel bolts. Bulkhead is excellent, as is the chassis. 2 sets of keys with working remotes. Original manuals and service book. Do come and have a look - SN9 area. It’s the biggest pita. Just wish I’d put my disk lock on. There was another defender in the car park that had a removable steering wheel (not present). That will be me next time!

i know what that's like, i went through that 5 years ago sadly. Two sweet hearts took mine from the driveway, a matter of hours before i was going to work in the morning. Get the car on as many have your says on facebook, and id put money on it, its still in the area, and it was probably took by someone very local to the area. Mine was actually found, two miles away for from me, destroyed. This was after a false sighting, that it was spotted in hartlepool. Car never even left the area, also watch out for people wanting money for the car back too, they tried to scam another defender owner that, had theirs nicked too. check around fields and local areas that are known for cars to be dumped etc. Where mine was found, was a heaven for 4x4s. Last year, the ground was cleared, and they must of removed about 20 little Suzuki 4x4s all destroyed and two stolen cars. They are putting an housing estate on it now. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back Success is 90% Inspiration and 4 minutes Preparation # you can make it! |
