Discovery 2 V8 for sale on eBay.
Due to a non-paying client and the proximity to Christmas:

Have advertised mine on ebay too,something i said i would never do due to the amount of idiots on there Evil or Very Mad . potentially got a defender lined up so need to shift my disco but cant help thinking ebay is a waste of time? we shall see

Good look selling yours.Looks a nice one,need some snow now. that would help Thumbs Up

I had the BEST sale ever! I was in shock....there are still a few genuine people about.

I sold my 2001 65k miles D2 V8 via ebay back in March. It was totally immaculate with the benfit of a brand new Land Rover engine that had only covered 6k miles. It bid to just over £3k which didn't get close to the reserve I'd set. Christ, the engine cost me £3k. I ended up selling privately for £3.5k.

Big V8's are just not flavour of the month these days.

I too sold a Dosco 2 last year on eBay. Did it with a classified advert, got a fair bit of initerest, and a quick/easy sale too.... Looked very much like yours too, Buzz. Mine was a 1999/T ES, same colour spec as yours (TD5 though)....got £3000 for it with 110k.

Cheers guys. The only negative experience I had on eBay was selling a chainsaw last year.

Have bought and sold many motorbikes and vehicles on there without drama.

Same to sell it really as it is A1. Rolling Eyes

i was lucky i admit. td5's are more desirable...v8's are great offroaders, or donors for challenge trucks but to run as a daily to much for most.

Got it on devon?

Ah sorry about that, no I didn't read the rules as I thought i'd seen other ebay links up.

Easily sorted that one mate.....if you're advertising your car for, say, £10,000 and he ask's a question like that, just tell him you'd be delighted to take his car as P/x....... his car, + £11,000 cash - the extra £1000 is to cover your time/trouble/expense etc of getting rid of something you hadn't asked for/shown the slightest interest, in the first place!

They don't like it very much, but I find it funny. Mark
