[Wanted] Single wheel for use as spare
Looking for a single wheel in good condition to use as a spare on a 1987 90.

Rostyle would be nice, but anything considered.

If you find one and carry it with the vehicle, it must be legal tread (AIUI) for road use ...... and MOT time.

I may have one standard tubeless rim with tyre in Wiltshire, I can get pictures if you’re interested.

I don’t think this is the case. There is no check on spare tyre in the MOT in the UK. So it can be any size or condition, carried or not. Thumbs Up

Full-size spare wheels are permitted.

The MOT primarily focuses on road wheels’ security and tire condition, checking for defects like excessive wear, cuts, bulges, and contact with other vehicle parts.

Remember, while the spare tire itself isn’t scrutinized, it’s essential to ensure it’s in good condition and suitable for emergency use.

Any size spare is ok, as it isn’t part of the test. Such as a space saver, but obviously you want one that will work for you.

From the MOT Government site.

2.12 Tyres and wheels
These will be inspected to check for:

condition
security
tyre size and type
tread depth
Spare wheels and tyres are not inspected.

Vehicles first used on or after 1 January 2012 will be checked to make sure the tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) MIL is working.

Ok, I dug it out this morning but it may not be for you.
There is some rust coming through on the front of the rim.
Tyre is Hankook Dynapro AT/m 205/80R 16 and has plenty of tread but I notice it has been plugged at some time.
Located near Devizes, Wilts. Looking for £40
