Wish my TD5 was as well behaved Especially as our local thieving Shell garage is now charging £1.58 a litre. And just for poops and giggles I use Zwift a lot for cycling and keeping fit through the winter and be ready for when the local trails aren't resembling a bog. This was yesterdays ride I too averaged 22mph, over nearly 24 miles, on one bowl of porridge I'm 54. Click image to enlarge Have fun |

Nice ride!
l was out on my bike last night although only about 8 miles. However that included 800 feet of climbing as the road from our house is a 2 mile continuous climb |

I’m getting 35-40mpg from my D250 90 on journeys over 15 miles or so. Driven smoothly, no smashing the loud pedal.
You’ll probably get even better mpg on longer runs at that rate. |

Hello Moo
On Zwift you have the option to join a Pace Partner group ride. Each pacer rides at a set power level, basically you pick the one that suits how you feel or pick one if it’s a recovery day and looking for an easy Zone 1/2 ride. Maria rides at 2.1 watts per kilogram, on the flat, uphill, downhill consistently. It’s towards my upper level and one hour is enough! It’s a sprint with no let up. Through out January and the first week of Feb I took part in the Tour du Zwift, 8 stages, three rides per stage, including warm ups and cool downs I covered 692 miles and 34,400 feet of climbing Bearing in mind that I couldn’t do more than 15 minutes on the exercise bike in the gym in the early 90’s because they were so boring Zwift is a world away. And more importantly it keeps you moving and ready for those longer gravel bike rides. |

Pretty decent. I've got a Zwift session to do later. 90 minutes of sheer joy Also got 6 hours / 80 miles ish to do tomorrow.
I'm training for the Mallorca 312 in April. 312 KM (196miles) in 14 hours with 16,568 ft of climbing. Are you doing Glorious Gravel on Salisbury plan end of March? Anyway, even on long runs to Milan I get no more than 27mpg but that is at 80mph+ with a roof rack, but I'm happy with that. I've never driven like Miss Daisy. Average in 22,600 miles since Nov 22 is 26.2 mpg all of it with a roof rack. Eiger Grey MY23 D250 SE with bits. Known as Noddy. |

My PB is 39.7mpg on a 150 mile jaunt from London to Yeovil. Avg 55mph. ECO engaged. Driving very carefully. I usually average low 20s on short trips in traffic around London. 30ish +/- 5 on average length trips outside of the city. |

D300 I am just learning about. First decent run at the weekend with two 140 mile trips. Cruise control set at 77mph for about half of it on motorway, rest was gently driven back roads. Average for each trip was 31 mpg.
I have removed the roof rack and ladder, so aerodynamics are about as good as possible for a brick. The down side is it's 275/55r20 Grabber AT3's which are probably scrubbing off 2-3 mpg. Did a 735 mile run down to Wales and back on Saturday with the trailer, to pick up an engine/chassis/gearbox and other bits and bobs. The D200 managed 31mpg overall which is not bad considering.
Best I’ve managed on a decent run is 37mpg on an autoroute blast back from the Alps to Calais. |
