Standard are fine
Fox shocks are a popular upgrade on here but for your needs, standard LR is fine and if you are doing the rear you may as well do the fronts and all the bushes while you are under there I appreciate its an extra cost but at least you know its done and you will feel a noticeable difference. 2008 Santorini Black 110 XS USW (Sold) 2015 Discovery 4.5 Black pack Firenze red XS 2008 Corris Grey 110 XS USW (sold) 2011 Santorini Black 110 XS USW (Sold) |

I went with Fox 2.0 all round and found them a significant improvement over standard. They work well on road and farm tracks, fields, etc.

If it’s just to get through the Mot then replace the rear shocks with standard replacements, job done.
You can then look at the rest of the suspension and decide what to do whilst not under pressure. |

Hi , thank you for reply’s, no rush it passed not but something I can do when it gets a bit dryer , can I just do rear or is that not acceptable practice and if upgraded is it a noticeable ride difference for the presumable extra cost ?
And any recommendations on shocks brands if I go standard or upgraded ? Regards Richard |

You can just do the rear, standard is fine.
There are upgrades, but are significant in price. Choice there is yours really, based on feedback. I’ve just stuck to standard. |
