I see Devon 4x4 are developing a winch bumper for the new Defender, there's a short video on their instagram page

Not sure you’ll get insured with it in the UK though. Eiger Grey MY23 D250 SE with bits. Known as Noddy.

Rhino looks totally different, Devon seems to be way better integrated.

I’ve already bought the lucky 8 discrete winch mount and fitted it this weekend.
So no need for either of the above now. Although I still like the aggressive look of the Rhino. Last edited by johnlad on 11th Feb 2024 6:55pm. Edited 1 time in total |

It's the time old argument - are they or aren't they legal. It's very badly written and ambiguous. Click image to enlarge I tried to import the ARB version from Australia which is Land Rover approved, however, its not approved in the UK and three insurers I approached, including NFU, wouldn't touch it unless it had the E stamp of approval on it. However, it seems hidden winch bumpers are OK, which is the route I'm taking. But I do like the Devon 4x4 offering in the above pic. Eiger Grey MY23 D250 SE with bits. Known as Noddy. |
