Glad you sorted it but methinks you’ve (re)posted the wrong photo?

So Im almost finished with my project. I bought it from a village in Wales, a dealer who buys from local Councils, Utility companies etc and it was bought to enjoy doing it up and then selling it. Profit would be nice but not really the main aim. I enjoyed how it drove, so much better than my old Tdi and Td5 with a working heater and better ride with it being the 110. I was impressed by the solidity of chassis and doors given its 2009. I got it home and found it had come from my local Council where I had worked for some time a few years back . It turns out that this was the vehicle used to plan the routes for when the Tour De France came to Yorkshire. I got a full service history with it and found that in 2018 all 5 doors and bonnet were stolen from it! Thats why the doors are all so solid. Its good the Council then fitted security hinges everywhere! I have tidied it up, removed the partitioning, cleaned it so so much and replaced grill, led lights etc. It had a Land Rover checker plate kit fitted which I have retained but painted anthracite along with the wheels that I bought seperately. Amazingly it hasnt leaked so far so I have put down soundproofing ( dodo style) and it only remains to open the doors up to lanoguard the inside as I have done with the chassis. Id love to try a BAS remap but at some point in the near future I'll be selling it and wont get the money back on that if I do. I am a dog trainer and have two big dogs and jumping in and out the high back isnt doing them any good. But what a machine! Thoroughly enjoying it, hoping for snow!
