Some years ago I was at the house of a person who's son had died. The father was standing by the coffin and I went up to express my condolences. The father took both my hands in his, looked me in the eyes and said.
"You go home to your daughter and give her a big hug as she is special." (My daughter has special needs) I was stunned. I could not fathom how a grief stricken parent could take their mind from their own tragedy to think of my daughter.
