Did think that, It's on Autotrader at that price as well.
Saxton 4x4 have a similar low mileage truck at roughly same price. Click image to enlarge |

It says it is grey but it looks blue to me. Apparently it is a Land Rover Grenadier. 1982 88" 2.25 diesel 1992 110 200tdi csw -Zikali 2008 110 2.4 tdci csw-Zulu 2011 110 2.4 tdci csw-Masai |

I posted one awhile back, which was at a dealer. There are multiple examples of strong discounts and or high depreciation. |

Anyone like to hazard a guess as to why there seems to be heavy reductions on the Grenadier?
I would have expected a dip after a few years but this seems very strange. |

That's a fair comment.
If they had been a few years earlier, and had a product to sell when the old Defender was cancelled and the new Defender was years away, there may have been more takers? But I thought LR had made a major cockup not having a replacement for the old Defender when its production run finished. They even had to battle Covid, chip shortages and not getting the product placement with Daniel Craig's last James Bond film when it was expected. But it has been a success for them. I just wonder if it was a bit expensive? |

Imagine when Land Rover had launched the Discovery, they had revamped the Defender to something of this order.... 1982 88" 2.25 diesel

Don't forget the Grenadier was originally priced around £15,000 cheaper when it first came out.
So any 2022 Grenadier on sale at around £50,000 is close to what the original owner paid for it. When l placed my order for a five seat Utility with a few options it was £53,000. Sadly l had to cancel but now the same vehicle is £68,000 |
