Who wants a Diesel exhaust tuned ?

You'd be surprised what a good exhaust can do to a diesel..... Eiger Grey MY23 D250 SE with bits. Known as Noddy.

Aftermarket exhaust on my 2.2 puma made a huge difference to how smoothly the engine ran without a noticeable difference in volume. Modern exhaust are extremely restrictive.

Clearly you have never heard an uncorked Td5 or TDV8 then. They sound fricken awesome!!! Even a Tdi can have a pretty good burble. Maybe head over to YouTube, sure there must be some good examples. The Ingenium 6 pot has potential to sound pretty good I’d have thought. Not too mention the real world potential performance gains of a less restrictive exhaust. Especially if you plan on mapping/tuning the vehicle at some point. |

Quicksilver Exhausts do an upgrade system for the D200/250/300 which they claim sounds a lot better than the standard one.

The problem is that quicksilver only makes sound generating exaust (speakers).
