Weight of dressed engines
I have a TD5 and a 300Tdi engine to move, what weight are they, fully dressed with alternator, starter, clutch etc?
300kg each?

I carried a fully dressed 19J engine, cast iron head, in the back of my Golf. I estimated somewhere around 300kg, and the car felt each one of them Laughing
Rear springs compressed all the way to the bump stops.
A 300tdi could be a little lighter, while a Td5 a bit heavier. 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing

Sounds like fun, Been there with 2 Iveco engines in back of 2 door R/R, already when load leveller pumped up, did not look nice when stationary.
They are going in the back of 110 Hicap, whilst moving house 5550 miles, with loaded Ifor on back 3.5t.
