We stayed in The Old Codgers Cottage in October. It's bang in the middle of Windermere and very comfortable.
If you search 't web for Old Codgers Cottage it comes right up. It's a good recommendation. |

It seems most are booked or closed for New Year, so Mrs Greeni just text and said it's gonna be camping.. Just joined National Trust and it looks like Great Langdale in the tent Cheers V8steve for info Now, if Santa can get a RTT down the chimney, we are on a winner...any body have one for sale? |

Langdale good choice, make sure you make the effort to go to the old Dungeon Ghyl pub, spent many an hour in there, good company and fine ale, open fire too!

Now you have your accomodation booked it is time to plan the activities. My thoughts are:
