When my Secure Tracker was up for renewal, I asked my insurer (NFU) if it was a requirement of my policy, they said No. Furthermore, having the JLR tracker wouldn't reduce my premium

Same here - Admiral confirmed the tracker didn't make a difference. Neither did parking it off the street. So now I pay my £2k and leave the windows and doors unlocked... Razz

Is there anybody that could send me the link to buy the subscription for LR remote?

Mine didn’t have it from the dealer and when trying to link the car in remote it says no active subscriptions.

I had an email yesterday to remind me that the InControl Secure tracker subscription would run out on 24th March (the car’s first birthday) which I found odd as my last New Defender’s InControl Secure ran for the first 3 years along with the Remote etc. Still waiting for a reply from JLR as to why I need to renew after 12 months. The only thing on the website is that it states that the other bits of In Control are all subscribed for 36 months but not the Secure side. There’s no mention on my invoice from the dealer whether I paid for 1 or 3 years but on my order form it states 3 years…. Maybe another mess up by the dealership along with the missing privacy glass and signature square that were not on the car when it was delivered? Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed!

It’s always been 12 months as far as I’m aware. My 21MY 90 it was 12 months. 24MY 90 D250 HSE, Tasman Blue

Like Tim, I ordered three years of secure tracker, but got a renewal reminder 11 months into ownership, chased up the dealer and funnily enough, the three years ordered was never followed through (or charged for) and I got the standard 12 months. I got a discount on buying the year 2 & 3 coverage which worked out at what it would have cost had it been included from the start, so I guess not a big deal for the sake of one phone call.

If you’ve paid for 3 then it should be 3. I thought he was referring to the one included with car Thumbs Up 24MY 90 D250 HSE, Tasman Blue
