You need a lot of patience hobby printing. The final part of this failed during the print twice so that's 12 hrs wasted but only pence in cost. Anyway it is all together now so I will get the brackets made, final fit check and then just plenty of finishing before paint.

So in line with the Works / Trophy I made a start on the surrounds for the new gear console. Just made a card template and then 6mm mdf. Actually a good opportunity to add a phone holder for the passenger on this piece..

I love the way you have integrated additional original factory switches into your dash, and even in your console,...it all looks "Factory" (or better than!).

Thanks Nick,
It's now fully assembled, a lot of tweaking just to get the brackets aligned. but it exactly how I planned. Click image to enlarge The Hi Lo engages in all positions but I am extending it and just keeping the top of the knob with a gaiter. Printed some large black ASA washers to let me fit the Mobile Centre CTEK mag connector onto the sill. Inspiration from Paul's LT1 build I am going to print a bracket to hold the CTEK over the weekend and finally the graphics are going on Friday.

Really slick - neat and tidy and makes connecting the charger so much easier.

Very nice. I hadn't thought of using those connectors on the outside of the vehicle. Much better solution than what I do. |

mcma1, did you consider making the job a little more complex (not that you need more on your plate when it comes to the build ) and putting on of these behind the lift up cover:
https://www.ctek.com/uk/battery-chargers-1...panel-1-5m I hid one on the lower (knee) panel of a classic and found it helpful - albeit really just a traffic light but once it was yellow I used to plug the car in. |

The mobilecentre mag connector has a status indicator on it but I have just bought the CTEK extension cable and plan now to fit the charger unit to the wall across the bonnet so I can always see the battery status. Andy
