No. Should flushing oil be used? l've never used it. The oil change was an interim one at 10,000 miles that l thought was worth doing, it's not actually due until 21,000

No need for flushing oil. More frequent oil changes is a good thing. Assuming the oil change actually took place it does go black quickly, but typically retains a brown tint for a couple of hundred kms

Yes it was definitely changed. l watched them do it. l've checked again. The oil is indeed dark brown rather than black on the dipstick.

Just booked mine in for March for an oil and filter change on its first birthday - I did the same for the D240 110. I’ve also asked them if they could check the AdBlu monitor as this car is indicating that it hasn’t used any in 3000 miles of the 7300 miles it’s covered so far. I’m using the 90 way less than I used the 110 which in its first year covered 11000 miles. Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed! |

Mine doesn't use much Adblue. When l got it the indicator said something like 7,800 miles range. l've done 10,000 miles and it's still saying 6,200 miles range.
l think it depends on how the vehicle is used. Mine does a lot of shorter journeys but the engine is always hot throughout the day because it doesn't get a chance to cool down between journeys |

Yep brown rather than black.
Oil change on the V8 petrol used to be a nightmare as it was translucent on the dipstick with just a slight reflectance |
