Have you taken your one to the dealer? What did they say?

I’ve had this a few times and sound only coming out of one speaker. Seems to be a known bug but not sure there is a fix for it. Also my weather and health apps never load. MY23 D250 Defender 110 X-Dynamic SE, Carpathian Grey, 7 Seat, Electric Towbar

Ok… will mention it to my dealer when goes to first service in 18 months!!
At least I am not the only one having this so probably a software issue that LR will correct eventually (reminds me of the software issues with my D5 when I bought it 5 years ago). |

I have this problem too. Very annoying. It seems to happen after I take very short drives. As in, if I move it out of the garage, turn it off, then when get back in the screen is sometimes blank.
As you said, the only way to get the screen back seems to be to lock the car for a few minutes. Like you, I'm waiting until it's in for service to have it looked at as I can't reproduce the problem on demand. |

I’m still
On pivi 4.0.1 so was hoping the latest 4.1.1 might resolve the issue but don’t know if it does. Is anyone on 4.1.1 still with this issue? MY23 D250 Defender 110 X-Dynamic SE, Carpathian Grey, 7 Seat, Electric Towbar |

Typical LR!!
I find it surprising that the Defender has been out for nearly 4 years, and yet this type of bug is still coming up. Is it like this with there manufacturers (I have only had LR for the last 10 years, and before that I didn't have a vehicle with this amount of electronics!)? |

I had this happen this week, has anyone noticed this is typically when an OTA update is ready for installation? *this is aside from the alt solution of resetting PIVI (hold down power button for 30 sec)?

Had similar issues on a Jaguar with same Pivi system in it over the last couple of months - took it to the dealer and they've ordered a cable for it which is apparently the normal solution, I think they called it an apix cable
