Are you doing the job head "on" or "off"?

With the head off, uncle has one but not sure if it's suitable yet. BORG - Bucks & Oxon 4x4 Response Group

I've got one of these in the garage:
https://www.powertoolsdirect.com/clarke-ch...mjEALw_wcB Used it on a Td5 head so see no reason why it wouldn't work on a Tdi.... You're more than welcome to borrow it. |

Thank you for the offer, it looks very similar to the one my uncle has.
Might buy one of these as it's pretty cheap. Click image to enlarge BORG - Bucks & Oxon 4x4 Response Group |

Easy to make one using a G clamp a a short piece of pipe with cutouts to reach the collets.
I use that method.. works a treat… maybe 10mins slower to take off and re put back the 8 valves. 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing 2012 90 CSW, 2.2TDCI, Santorini Black |
