Spotted this on ebay and it might be a Marmite moment! For me the wheels and parabolic springs would have to go.

Looks a straight old thing, maybe original paint too?

Those wheels and tyres would have to go. They should never have been fitted.
Give it a set of 5.5" rims with 7.50 tyres and it might be acceptable. |

Agree Blackwolf
One thing I was wondering, looking at the description is it in the territory of losing its original registration under the points system, different engine, gearbox (possibly) axles and chassis? 2010 XS USW 1957 Series One 88 diesel 1958 Series One 88 4x2 |

The chassis shouldn't be a problem since it is a new replacement and has not previously had an identity. The engine, axles and suspension are all non-original and would have to weighed-up on the point system.

DVLA Part/ Points
Chassis, monocoque bodyshell (body and chassis as one unit) or frame - original or new and unmodified (direct from manufacturer) 5 Suspension (front and back) - original 2 Axles (both) - original 2 Transmission - original 2 Steering assembly - original 2 Engine - original 1 Probably okay then 9 with original steering and gearbox. Well clear if standard springs are fitted. 2010 XS USW 1957 Series One 88 diesel 1958 Series One 88 4x2 |
