Morning all,
Throughout the summer a number of us from D2N have attended the Sunday morning Cars and Coffee meet at the Renegade Brewery in Yattetndon in West Berkshire, these car meets have proved to be very popular with cars ranging from pre war MG's through to the latest super cars, interspersed with a few Land Rovers. these meets stopped in September (to be resumed next year), however the organisers have decided to have a Christmas meet which will be held on 17th December commencing at 9 a.m this will be a charity special, the main benefactors will Crisis and the West Berks foodbank. Due to the popularity of the summer events admission will be by ticket only, these will be available from the website below from 17th November 2023 @9.00 a.m., this meet will be very popular, if you want to attend and support two great causes, get in early. Further details are available on www.westberkscarsandcoffee.com Click image to enlarge |

Hi all,
A gentle bump.... Tickets for car and Christmas are now available at the following link: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/west-berks-ca...027#search They are £5 person plus Eventbrite handling fee, the orgsnisers are not taking and money from this with all proceeds going to their chosen charities of West Berks Food Bank and Crisis. Having just spoken with the orgsnisers I am told that tickets are going fast and there are not many left. Dave |

Looks like a great turnout! I was hoping to be there but was a bit slow off the mark for getting tickets!
I’d be interested to attend the next one. Nice mix of cars and their beer’s always good there. |

I'll try and remember the 4th of Feb.
Last time I was over there, was in the summer with my other toy, which is sorn'd at the moment. It is generally a good turn out with a great selection of cars and bikes. Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge |

Now that looks like fun, Glen-I!!
Unfortunately I’m away that weekend so won’t be able to make the 4th. Will keep an eye out for future ones though. |

Cheers WestCountryPete.
It's certainly very different from the Defender. I built it 22 years ago, and just fully stripped it back to bare chassis and rebuilt it again. This time with lots of carbon fibre, throttle bodies, trick suspension, full FIA cage and respray in Jaguar French Racing Blue. Weighs 590kg producing 200bhp, with a Quaife Straight cut box, which will just nudge 55mph in 1st but you can still happily pull away in 2nd. She goes well! My carbon fetish Click image to enlarge 20xe on throttle bodies, with lightened and balanced bottom end Click image to enlarge Quick release steering wheel (my belly is bigger nowadays) with wireless switches Click image to enlarge |
