RTT air mattress
Hi folks,

anyone using an inflatable air mattress in their RTT that once deflated can stay in the tent and also doesn't cost a fortune

I have a Bundutop RTT, it has a 100cm thick mattress that's very comfortable and the tent has enough head room to leave the sleeping bag and pillows in place when closed.

We had an iKamper hard shell so the bedding didn't need to be folded. We used a cheap air bed similar to this https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/355348404070?ha...R6yr1JqbYw with a mattress topper to flatten out the ridges, a duvet and pillows. It was a cheap, very comfy bed and with the air bed deflated the whole lot could stay in the tent when it was closed.

I have one of these in my RTT. Its a hardshell though so doesn't need to fold.

We've used Vango Shangrila (sp?) in our old roof tent and can highly recommend. I think it was the 7cm one, really nice to sleep on and a bit more support than just an air mattress.

We sadly got a puncture in it that we couldn't seal (our own fault) but looking at getting another to replace the foam mattress in our roof conversion which is hard as nails!
