The cheap option is to grovel.
The expensive option is flowers. At least this may prevent further painful insertions. At least you got a Christmas present |

Good advice.
Can’t grovel too much as it is difficult to bend down. I should be thankful I didn’t upset her over the Lego set… |

if you think that's bad, i have been told i have just done me money, on a socket set. Bought a socket set of £100, for dads Xmas box last month. He found out there that the sockets are far too big. So i cannot even return them as the windows gone. Ok if anyone plays with buses and lorries etc. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

Oh that’s a shame Procta.
You should have just gone for the Old Spice Gift Set. Someone once said there’s no such thing as spanner’s/sockets that are ‘too big’ - you just need bigger nuts…🤪 |

i should have, he was hinting on the next size down socket wise, i could send these ones back but the weight and the window its just too narrow. Suppose i could look at selling on here if anyone plays with Tractors or old buses etc. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

Good call Procta. There are forum members whose smallest toy is their Defender.
There are some interesting collections - some already have threads, others don’t. Good luck 🤞 |
