Update

Apparently it's not actually on the recall to change the canister, just the hose.
The new hose comes with an armoured sheath so it's unlikely to rub through.

However, Land Rover have been in touch and have agreed to refund me the £110 cost of the canister.

Yeah, that's fixed the problem you'll be okay now.

Not sure why they don't replace the canister as it's easier, quicker and probably cheaper. But changing the hose will work.
