United Kingdom 2015 Defender 110 Puma 2.2 XS CSW Bronze Green
Hard shell is the way to go, much more sturdy in bad weather and quicker to put up/down.

I have a Bundutec RTT and love it. Super quick to put up/down; hand brake to beer in minutes. It come with a 100mm mattress which is very comfortable and there is space when close to leave all your bedding in there. To keep the roof weight down, I just use roof bars to attach the tent. I have a 110 so plenty of space inside for all the other camping gear and leaving room to sit inside the back if it's p*ssing down.

I too have a Bundutec, had it for 7 yrs. (one of the first into the country)
It has been modified to have an extra awning which connects to a OZ tent (RV1) this allows me to get up and into a tent when the weather is bad. My LR is not for living in, like your 110.

That why I say .........
