Here’s my top three.
1. Fitted extra reversing lights, these are brilliant (literally).
2. Front centre console storage insert, really handy for surprisingly store things in😀
3. Roof light pod, I stay in the middle of nowhere and this has proven to be great on the country roads on these dark winter days.

I fitted LED headlights, about £100 from Ebay, all compliant. I had already fitted new headlights and then changed to LED bulbs. I should have gone straight to full LED headlights, everything else has been a waste of money.
I would say that they are nearly as good as my X5 headlights

Mines have all been standard, only thing I changed on my XS was the alloys, I fitted the steels. Considering fitting them to the 90. The only thing I’ve added to the current 90 is powerful UKs table. 24MY 90 D250 HSE, Tasman Blue

But what's the "most useful" of all the mods people have done?

Sure it's different for everyone, but if everyone picked one or two that really made a huge difference, that would be very interesting to hear.

Utilitarian useful?
https://www.powerfuluk.com/collections/new...663-type-b

Keeping me from hating my defender, new cars in general, and whichever engineer first imagined an engine that would shut off at stop lights?

The GAP tool. Switching on “remember last setting” for stop/start makes it possible for me to love my defender. The other changes I’ve made with it are just gravy. Shutting off brake hold being a runner up.
