First Day of Winter
Yes its the first day of winter which can only mean the following

Its the first day of Surrey pot hole season, they only finished the road repairs from two years ago around here literally two weeks ago.

My clock in the TD5 is still wrong, i only have to wait until March and it will be fine again.....like last time. The positive is that i am never late anywhere.. Laughing

And tonight just four days before my MOT the passenger door is bouncing when making the attempt to close it due to the cold..... Censored it! Why is my 90 not a summer MOT baby....

Fortunately it will be warmer from Sunday....I'll wait for nature to do its stuff before i start to massage the rubber Whistle ....seals and spray the latch....

So, as it Friday, what does winter mean to you, in a non serious way?

Lets have a laugh.

Darkness, coldness and misery…

Hibernating…

Higher fuel bills…

Too cold to work on the Defender…

But other than that it’s a great time of year and nearly Christmas!

Bah humbug…

Yes indeed - a glimmer of light/hope…

It is threatening to snow here today, but I’m not getting the Defender out in case it gets cold/dirty/salty…

I must correct you the first day of winter is the 21st December. The 1st of December is used by the Met Office because they have very limited data analysis skills. 130 Puma HCPU with an Artica 240LR Demountable Camper

Oh yes, Dinitrol and ACF50, now that makes me feel happy on a cold and miserable winters day 👍

But now I will have to inspect and re-apply - just in case…
