Rear Lights
Looking at sourcing some rear smoked lights for my 110. But the cost got me thinking.
Thinking back to my fast FORD days in the late 80's, early 90's.
We didn't have fancy off the shelf tinted rear lights or magic tinted wrap, we just purchased a rattle can of tint paint and went for it.
Has anyone tried this method? Were the results as shocking as I think they might be? To many sharp edges and not enough flat surface to get a good even coat. 110 D250 SE HT

I've also done that in the'90s.
Just a rattle can with smoke backlight.

I ended with only the white reversing lights painted, it's to dark otherwise for all the red area.
Example:

You could try something like this, also easy to remove if you decide it's not for you.

I have some of those in the garage but not fitted yet. I wasn't sure if they would rub the paintwork when they are fitted. 110 D250 SE HT

I fitted a set about six months ago and they've been fine, apart from the fist time I jet washed the car and one of the small covers came off, I've since fitted extra 3M tape and they've been fine since.
