Ladder and Molle plate side mount
after fitting a ladder, I felt the rest of the side fixing was wasted. Fitted a molle plate, then with a little adjustment to top ladder plate (drilling two 12mm holes) and the ladder sat straight on, over the Molle plate.
Job done, now I can attach items to the remainder of the plate.
Powerful do a fixing kit to attach the gear box to a Molle plate, but not the ladder.

This company makes a mounting plate that attaches to the OEM ladder:
I found a video on how it is installed on YouTube and it required quite a bit of disassembly of the ladder, also not sure about how much stress it puts on the underlying rear side window glass as it uses 2 rubber bumpers to hold the plate off the glass.
I like that you figured out how to fit PowerfulUK's plate instead. How solid is it? Does it put any stress on the glass or any risk of it damaging the paint on the rear fender?--------------------------------
