Good evening, could anybody tell me how to check the signal from the AS10 to the instrument cluster and how to check if it goes true to the ECM. And in case it doesn't, how to bypass it?
I am thinking of changing the configuration of the ECM to a country that doesn't need a immobilizer, but don’t know it can be done. |

I have checked the signal from the 10AS unit to the dashboard and the signal from the dashboard to the ECU with a scoop. It looked like sometimes the 10AS Unis was't talking hard enough and than the dashboard wouldn't transfer the signal to the ECU. When the signal was above a certain value the dash would give the correct signal to the ECU
I couldn't find a cause for this (have checked power, grounds and several connectors) but then found online a bypass for the dashboard. ![]() Click image to enlarge Directly after I made this bypass the car started right away and ever since. Hopefully this will help someone in the future. |
