Hi all,
I saw this topic by someone named V8Simon on this forum, which talks about an issue which I'm currently facing myself. I've got a project Defender 110, from '84 with a 3.9 V8 5-spd out of a Discovery, which I'd like to have with a Puma style dashboard and cluster. I've managed the dashboard part, but I'm wondering how for example he, but also Ministry of Defender get their Puma-gauges to work with the 14CUX 3.9 V8. Does anyone know how this is usually achieved? Topic for reference: https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic59874.html |

Seems like the simple thing to do would to be use the puma cluster.

Its not a Puma dash Nick but a copy-ish product. I don't think it's designed to use a puma gauge binnacle.

As above, I do a controller to run Puma clusters (which is how the original question was phrased).
The D3/RRS clusters are different, and i don’t do a controller for them. They physically fit the same as the Puma clusters though, so you could use a proper Puma set. ![]() ![]() |
