This was mentioned in another thread, but poster decided on another option.
I'm tired of not being able to use my radio as the buttons are too small for me to see properly when wearing driving glasses. The Pioneer looks like the ideal solution and as it's bluetooth as well as the crappy cradle, I can mount the phone in the top tray instead. Anyone used one? I have one of these, came in my truck.
It certainly does the trick. The cradle isn’t as adjustable as I’d like, I’d like to be able to angle the phone towards me a little more. In my puma it does block the hazard switch, but not a huge problem for me. In terms of actually using it, I basically just use the skip and volume up and down. Very simple to use in that regard. |

I had this radio in my 110 a few years ago. Things that I can remember:
- Phone button placement could also be an issue depending on model etc given the clamp contact points - As above comment, it would cover dash buttons - Only used the pioneer app to change head unit colours - not sure if it's been updated since as I wasn't a fan off their app - I recall my phone dropping out a the mount a few times if the going got rough... All that being said, it did me well for the price and there were no massive deal breakers, plus you only tend to remember the negative things... Any reason why a regular Bluetooth radio wont do if you're just going to mount the phone on the dash instead (if I understand correctly)? Or are you looking at this head unit for listening to the radio and not streaming your own music over Bluetooth? The radio I have at the moment has lots of tiny buttons. When wearing drivnig glasses, I can't see what any of them do! It's designed for teenagers who like lots of flashing lights. It's also fiddly to pair.

I think this could work for you. Not many buttons.
Also, the cradle fits my iPhone Pro Max, and there aren’t many larger phones than that. |

I did buy one just before Christmas. Very pleased. Only downside is that the cradle isn't great - not convinced it will cope with many bumps and the phone gets in the way. Doesn't matter as I'm using a different cradle.

No info on the radio, but with respect to the phone clamp, those styles can be a bit annoying on my samsung with the lock button on the side. The Yeti - 110 Camper https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic90308.html
