Sorry to hear about your problems Warren. My experiences are more like bm52. Have now covered 17,600 miles and the only warranty issues have been noisy front wipers ( now replaced under warranty ) and a rear heated window to be replaced in the next few weeks ( top 3 elements not working ) and 1 rusty headlamp bezel and mud flap bracket picked up by dealer and replaced both sides. Mechanically, a smile everyday. Looking forward to the next few months. LANDYWATCH

Glad you're pleased with the puma...I certainly wouldn't swap back to a Td5.
Mine's done 30,000 miles, never broken down, always loved driving it, but it has been in for it's fair share of warranty work - if it had been an older vehicle I'd have shrugged and treated/painted the various corroded bits myself, but I was glad of the warranty for the various mechanical issues. Most will hopefully now be resolved for a while, but I do get nervous about the future cost of gearboxes and clutches - I'm on my third of both, and finally the gear-change is almost ok!! But for how long?? 1953 80 1965 Alfa Romeo GT Veloce Sprint 1980 Fiat 124 Spider 2008 110xs |
