In Control app is being scrapped ?
I’m collecting my new Defender next Tuesday so I thought I would get prepared, and download the In Control app onto my iPhone….a message appears on my screen when I have downloaded the app to say that it’s being deleted from the App Store on 31st December 2023 and no longer supported, and it will be no longer able to connect to the vehicle with the app after that date…..does anyone have any view on this ? Thanks very much.

Interesting so did a google search and this was posted on another jag forum Thumbs Up

“Just to clarify though - this is just for in-car apps that used to include Spotify etc before they got rid of them all. This is nothing to do with the 'Remote' app. which will still function as normal (remote start etc).”

And on same forum

“JLR have just confirmed to me that Incontrol is not going and still being built into new vehicles. Whether that includes the extra download apps I didn't ask.”
